2010 WG Environmental Training - White Glove Environmental in partnership with Policy Studies Inc (PSI) participated in a 6-week Green Environmental training session to offer experience and training to a group of individuals who wouldn't otherwise be awarded these opportunities. Our goal was to take these individuals and provided them with the essentials of accredited industry training, with a emphasis on real life work experience. These individuals were awarded certificates that will allow them to work in fields that were otherwise difficult to break into. They received certificates for an Asbestos Worker, Green Awareness, Lead Renovator, Lead Worker, OSHA Safety 10hr and Forklift Training. They also were required to complete approx 3 weeks of in-the-field training, which we called our WGE Boot Camp. They learned skills such as Interior/Exterior Demolition, working in High or Confined Spaces, Recycling C&D material and palletizing brick to name a few. These individuals are now able to basically double their earned income, benefiting not only themselves but the families they're responsible for.
